Croplands dealer, Cowra Machinery Centre deliver another Pinto 3000 in central west NSW.

Croplands dealer, Cowra Machinery Centre recently delivered a Pinto 3000 to Michael Johnston and Family  of Milburn Creek Stud of Woodstock in central west NSW. The 3000 litre trailed sprayer is fitted with an 18 metre hydraulic lift and fold boom, as well as wing fold, auto rate controller and Chemi-mix chemical additive hopper.

The Johnston’s farm over 2,500 hectares on two properties, including cattle, merino sheep and some cropping. Their undulating grazing country contains some lightly timbered and steep terrain, making the option of the wing fold boom for reduced boom width spraying very useful. As is the auto rate controller, which takes care of the varying ground speeds to ensure a constant spray rate.

Michael’s son, Matt does the majority of the spraying and has opted for a Trimble GPS light bar for spraying guidance in lieu of foam markers that he has previously used.
