Positive responses from recent demo nights with the WEEDit Toolbar sprayer in the Parkes and Condobolin regions.

Croplands dealer, McPhersons Parts & Service, located in Parkes NSW recently took delivery of an 18 metre, hydraulic folding WEEDit toolbar sprayer.

Several demo nights were held in the Parkes and Condobolin regions late last year with McPhersons. There was a good level of interest from several attendees, all being quite impressed by what the WEEDit toolbar sprayer could achieve. With such a positive response from the demo nights held, McPhersons’ owner, David Thompson decided to place an order for this type of machine so his customers can hire it out to use on their properties.

The toolbar was designed by Scott Seris of Seris Engineering in Toowoomba in conjunction with Croplands Equipment. The toolbar is extremely well built, with a robust centre section of 9 metres and a double folding wing, both controlled from the cabin of the tractor.

The unit comes with an end-row tow kit, for transport on-road between farms. During the week of delivery Croplands Field Service Technician, Nathan Pedler and Croplands Central Area Sales Manager, Dave Farmer assisted the service team from McPhersons to get the machine assembled and running.

This unit comes complete with a 600 litre tank, tank fittings and boom plumbing, with one sensor per metre. It also features depth gauge wheels and the WEEDit control box.
